The bit of niar received both before & after the inch or two of real snow
yesterday made for a well bonded ~1/2" nicely textured skim coat on the rock
hard stuff below. It was almost like REAL skiing today- enough so that I
risked it bare-armed in a T-shirt (again.) It was above freezing, way too
warm out even for a light cotton sweat-shirt for road-rash protection.

I expect they'll grind it all up into corduroy chunklets of Pisten Bully
wake before the bullwheels turn, currently slated to happen Friday 9AM. I
won't be partaking, but maybe on Monday, weather & schedule permitting.

There is still not enough cover on 10th Mt. or Smith, but they should be
grooming Challenger, Ralphs, & Conifer.
