I skied Stowe yesterday and based on what I skied I have to say the Sbush report is accurate.

Did you check the Stowe report?  Scott takes a lot of pride in providing an accurate report.

I embrace the masshole in me all week but turn into a VT skier on weekends, 3 days at MRG so far. We're heading up tomorrow afternoon for another weekend at the Mad House on RT17. Honk your way to mecca.

I'm not questioning SB, and have no interest in going there, I'm just trying to figure how Lincoln Peak has double the seasonal snowfall total as General Start a few miles away. I'm sure that elevation, wind and isolated pockets play into the difference to some extent.

that wouldn't surprise me since the LES machine is in action. There's been a lot of snow in the hills. I would recommend you just get your a$$ out there and find out for yourself. If I lived in VT, that is what I would be doing. But dress warmly because we are in a polar vortex right now.

Ouch Sharon! Todd is a masshole normally (and I assume he checks the weather before he skis).

Sugarbush has a snowfall cam atop Lincoln Peak now so I tend to believe their snow reports more than I ever did before. That is unless they are secretly aiming a snowgun over it, which is possible.
