The Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle, invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in isotope geochemistry. Research topics include using and developing new tracers, especially non-traditional stable isotopes, to constrain cosmochemical, geochemical, and biological processes. Information on the research program of Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory can be found at: http://faculty.washington.edu/fteng/. Opportunities to collaborate with scientists within the department and across other units at UW such as Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, and Environmental and Forest Sciences provide access to a broad range of expertise during the postdoctoral research.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Earth Sciences or a related field. Experience in clean laboratory and multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICPMS) is especially desirable. The Initial appointment is for one year, renewable up to 2 times contingent upon performance.
