Nicole, I have a Hausted exam chair and the patient is closer to examiner
with less side rails space ,, I have been scanning over 40 years and older
than most ,, no problem with bilateral with right first,, bilateral exams
with resting ABI one hour,
Reflux bilateral 1 hr sitting and standing
Visceral 1 hr with tech sheet write ups.
Unilateral exams 30 mins arterial bilateral ABI
VENOUS unilateral. 30 mins
carotids 30 mins bil arm pressures and prox or mid subclavians

Some technologist need more time especially if the worksheet taking 10 mins
needs to be filled out immediately following exam .

Ergonomics is important ,, stay healthy
