It is for pressure waveforms but it is entirely non invasive. It uses waveforms and mathematic algorithms.  I spoke with a company representative yesterday about the technology. It is used by nephrology and cardiology. I believe the technology was developed in Australia.

Is anybody out there performing this? It now has a CPT code. The medicare reimbursement in my area is about $20 (global).

Arterial pressure waveform analysis for assessment of central
arterial pressures, includes obtaining waveform(s), digitization and
application of nonlinear mathematical transformations to determine
central arterial pressures and augmentation index, with
interpretation and report, upper extremity artery, noninvasive

I'm curious to hear more about this from anybody who has used one of the devices.
