When you bring in that many people, people spend money. They spend it on food, drinks, lodging. Some bought lift tickets. Some might have gone into the ski shops and bought new skis, boots or a ski jacket.

All in all, it was a winner this weekend for the economy of the area and gave everyone a boost on what would have otherwise been a slow weekend.

I doubt Killington lost much on this and they probably had help from other organizations as well.
