Oops, nearly forgot this one...

This app allows you to import your existing 2D photos for transformation into VR. Free....might be a good way to introduce VR by linking familiar 2D concepts to 3D concepts.

Hi Erica

For VR presentations, a good free option would be Blender.  Useful for VR modeling, animation, and 3D printing.

There is also a plug-in for Maya that will allow for the creation of VR presentations. Maya is not free for most but is free for educators and students. Useful for VR modeling, animation, and 3D printing.

However, I am most looking forward to trying out Google's Tilt Brush for the creation of VR media.
At a mere $30 it seems a must have if you already have a Vive. If you take a look at the reviews, you see that this one appears to have the Wow factor that one might expect from VR media creation tools. As an artist, I cannot wait to be able to try it.

I just picked up a much of Google Cardboard glasses for my staff and some students to sign out.   Google Expeditions is really cool, but I am not sure how practical it actually is.   I have also download a bunch of apps to, but our of everything I have tested, I keep coming back to searching youtube for 360 video's appears to provide the best content.

On a similar note I did pick up a 360 video for the school and played with that.

I took it home for some sledding time this past weekend:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkFr6H-WKteuGLR-j_fnFuA
