Hi all,

It really felt like spring in Middlebury this morning, as the favorable
overnight winds seem to have ushered in a surge of new migrants. I rode my
bike out Creek Road south of town and then back in Foote Street and had ten
first of year birds! Highlights included five species of warbler (including
FOY Yellow, Black-throated Green, and Northern Waterthrush), several
Solitary Sandpipers, a Green Heron, a Warbling Vireo, and at least two Gray
Catbirds.

Get out and see what's coming through if you can today!

Good birding,
Don Jones
