I had LOTS of trouble getting it started, but finally figured it out.  Siri needs to be enabled and the iPad NEEDS to be in Guided Access before the students log into the app, even though the SBAC app looks like they are locked in.

We used it without any issues on ipads.   Need to allow dictation under Keyboard and install the SBAC app, but no issues otherwise.

It's been a while, but I did have at least one student use it this year on an ipad and it worked. (But they tested early). All I remember was that I had siri turned on initially and everything the student spoke into device was repeated by Siri and it was duplicating it. Once I fixed that, it was okay.

Good morning,

Last year speech to text worked on iPads for SBAC testing. This year it is not working. Has anyone had any success with this? Windows speech recognition does not work well for my students.

Thanks
Wendy
