Interruption to Buildings on Central
Campus
Tuesday, May 30, 2017
This interruption is scheduled for a 12-hour
duration:
Tuesday evening May 30, 2017
until Wednesday morning May 31, 2017 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m
*Rain Date is May 31st at 7:00 pm to
June 1st 7:00 am
The
following buildings will be impacted:
Votey Hall Billings Billings Food Services Ira Allen Chapel CC Theater Mansfield House Torrey Hall Kalkin Hall Discovery Hall (STEM
Laboratory Building) Cook Science Building
Effects
of this electrical interruption to each
building will be:
• All occupancy should
be avoided - between 7:00 p.m.
and 7:00 a.m. on May 30 to May31.
•
No Lighting - Emergency
exit lighting will be operational for only
the first 90 minutes of the shutdown.
•
No power - all convenience
outlets will be shut off.
•
No air conditioning
•
Network Services - could be
interrupted to each building but not to
the overall campus.
•
All computers should be shut down.
•
Cat Card entry(s) - will not
be operational.
•
Chemicals - should be safely
stored and the use of chemicals should be
avoided during the shutdown.
•
Sensitive electronic equipment
- should be disconnected.
