Subject: docline routing question

Dear Colleagues,

A Friday question ...

Can anyone explain how/whether/if Docline routing distinguishes between ELECTRONIC and PRINT formats ? I'm getting very frustrated with the number of Docline requests I receive for E-Pub-ahead-of-print articles, when my holdings specify the format I hold as "Print" only, as this lowers my Docline " grade" and looks bad when I pass that information along to the higher-ups who judge the value of library services .... I'm wondering if there's something I can do to resolve this problem.

When I receive an E-Pub-ahead-of-print request from one of my library patrons I prefix it to a library that indicates "Electronic" holdings so that other librarians, hopefully, do not experience the same problem with my docline requests.

Many thanks !
