All of our teachers were issued Chromebooks a few years back and have been
very quick to begin using them. A few of them simply stopped using their
classroom Windows desktops altogether, except for Smartboard use when
necessary (a few of them have the Epson projectors that work just fine with
the Chromebooks). Of course, there are still a handful of devices available
to them that are dedicated to running the few things that absolutely cannot
be run on Chromebooks  (Smartboard software, 3D printing software (the
slicer, not the cad programs), Oculus VR apps, whatever iPad apps that are
still being used, and MinecraftEDU)
