My daughter's team was scheduled practice this afternoon at MRG. When we got out of the car at 1:30 the wind was probably blowing 20-30mph at -2 degrees F. It was absolutely frigid. They trained for 2 hours on the practice slope...

Yup, that. :-) After several days of family time followed by work time,
I was looking forward to getting out today. Then I saw the thermometer
at the house reading -14°F, MRG's forecast high of -8°F, and I decided
to reevaluate. Then I saw the MRG webcam showing the flags whipping out
straight in the wind, and the single not running, and my nose started to
feel a little frostbite just imagining it. Then I heard about lifts all
over the state not running, and realized that a hot cup of tea at home
with my family was the right choice after all.
Maybe tomorrow. :-)
