*Student Financial Services * January 18, 2018 If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, returning to UVM for the 2018-2019 academic year, and plan to utilize financial aid, please be sure to *submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.gov <https://fafsa.gov/> by February 1, 2018.* This will ensure that your FAFSA is considered on-time and receives priority consideration for financial aid funding. The 2018-2019 FAFSA uses 2016 tax information. Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool provided to automatically import your 2016 Federal tax information into your FAFSA. The priority deadline cannot be extended, and filing your FAFSA after February 1, 2018 may significantly limit your financial aid eligibility.
