From what the tide people have told us you have to use a 3rd party software to actually do the writing (so something like dragon).If you have Mac's the built in text -to-speech works.Otherwise we have yet to find an application for the chromebooks that doesn't have to have an active browser open to run it.Brian BulissaBRSUWe have a student that will be using speech to text for SBAC. The accommodation has been set up in TIDE, it is showing up on their test, but it isn’t working for the student. What step are we missing? Someone mentioned — permissive mode ( which is on).
