I really like this site for Arduino intro projects:
https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/getting-started-with-arduino-a-beginners-guide/

This page starts out with a simple stoplight but has more advanced projects as you scroll down:

I would highly suggest Fritzing as a tool for you and your students. Great program for creating diagrams which Fritzing will convert to schematics.

Here is a link to a website I created for Arduino.  It is a little out of date but may have some info that may help you.

If I can be of any help, I'd love to.

Hi all

Does anyone have any advice/experience teaching arduino to 5th graders?  I have a background in C++ and am comfortable with the language, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Joe
