Q1: What does “Go-Live” mean?

A1: The module is in production and ready to be used.

 

Q2: What is the purpose of the Business Process Review (BPR)?

A2:  The BPR is conducted during the “Discovery” phase in which the implementation team will document how the SUs/SDs and Districts are currently doing business. This will then inform aspects of the design and development of the solution and the resulting “best practices”.

 

Q3: Who should attend the BPR?

A3: Any SU/SD or School District staff that interact with local Finance/HR/Payroll modules, even from SUs/SDs not planning to adopt in the near future.

 

Q4: If I want to participate in the BPR, what kind of time commitment should I expect?

A4: The attached agenda specifies who will be needed for which sessions. Please plan to have the relevant representative attend at least one session for their area of expertise. Session I and Session II are the same except for the order of events. Everyone should plan on joining the debrief session to discuss the findings remotely if at all possible.

 

Q5: Can I become an “adopter” and implement the SSDDMS (eFinancePlus) after Round 4?

A5: Yes. If you are interested, but cannot adopt until a later date, please contact the SSDDMS project team to voice your intentions and what kind of implementation schedule would make the most sense for your LEA.
