I just heard that there was a person on the lift in the morning and he might have been an employee at one time. Turned out he might have even had a pack with warm cloths. There is an investigation going on by the local authorities.

Lots of discussion about this at Gore this past weekend. It might have been an April Fool's joke and someone also said that it might have been a former employee who was pissed off at being layed off wanting to sue the mountain. All conjecture. No hard facts.

People are still joking around about the skier abduction from Whiteface, as it is the only plausible explanation. There are no major highways from Whiteface to get anywhere, so no one is believing that he hitched a ride or was drugged and taken on a truck. People think he might have wanted to plan his death so his family could get the insurance. More rumors than facts.

Does anyone have any inside scoop on the person who spent a night on the North guad at Gore mountain recently?  There is just a very vague press release type article in,our local newspaper.  Jimski
