Hi Tabitha!

We use it on about fifty older netbooks that would otherwise would need to have been retired. Big downside is that the free version lacks the management features of a Chromebook unless you pay for the permanent (transferable) licenses and assign them as part of your GSuite orgs. You can still maintain some semblance of control and loss prevention through enforcing any restrictions/settings at the user level, but there is absolutely nothing preventing a user from switching to another account to browse free from oversight. Not a bad temporary solution or for younger kiddos who you are less worried about having the skills to change profiles on you, but again... worth being mindful of!

Best,

Ethan

We've got 10 older MacBooks that I converted last year using NeverWare. They've worked great for us and have extended the life of machines that were otherwise outdated beyond usefulness as Macs.

Hello All!

Is anyone using NeverWare as a solution for their older PC's? Do you like it? How well does it work? Are there any issues with connectivity or speed?

Thanks!
