I re-issue at no charge unless someone has lost their passport multiple times.  After the 3rd time, I charge the fee.

I re-issue for free - have done 2 in 13 years.

I also let people know that if they lose or destroy, like falling out of their canoe or something, I will just give them a new card.

I was thinking the same thing on length of time. If they get it at the minimum age chances are they would live 25 more years and like you say, we would still have their info so they would not have to reapply and pay fee again...

Hello Alberta,

Currently, disposition guidance for Green Mountain Passport applications can be found on one of the disposition orders for Municipal Clerks, specifically Disposition Order No. 09219.  A direct link to the disposition order can be found here.  If you have any additional questions, or the link does not work, please let us know!

Regards,

Andrew

Subject: Green Mountain Passports?

Morning,

I have found a box of Green Mountain Passport applications going back to the early 90's. I have looked on the retention schedules and cant find them listed.

Does anyone know how long we need to hold onto the applications after the passport has been issued?

Sincerely,

Alberta Miller
