I believe it’s because these cards are good for life. I always tell people that if they lose their card or it is destroyed to come back and I will give them another card for free because we have the application on file.

I have found a box of Green Mountain Passport applications going back to the early 90's. I have looked on the retention schedules and cant find them listed.
Does anyone know how long we need to hold onto the applications after the passport has been issued?
