We are beyond thrilled to welcome community leader, Ode'imini giizisikwe, to be our keynote for this week's Women @ Noon! 

Ode'imini giizisikwe will lead us in an activity involving buckskin.

Here is an intro from our presenter: 

Aniin,

My name is Ode'imini giizisikwe, (Strawberry Moon Woman), I am Anishinaabe from the White Earth Nation. My English name is Jennifer and I currently am the Program Manager for Spectrum’s Drop In Center here in Burlington. I have been working with at risk youth for almost two decades and prior to living in Vermont, I lived in Oregon and grew up in Los Angeles. I’m very engaged in the indigenous community here in Vermont, attend ceremony regularly, and do what I can to educate others on what is going on in “Indian Country” and how to be a good ally.
