I would agree with that, if the student ONLY went to the TC, but in my case, and I'm assuming many, our students take courses at both our HS and the TC and the students' HS transcript shows the TC courses with earned credit for HS graduation

We were told that the tech centers put in their own data, so we did not have to report on them.

yes "my" adminID/SU is SU060 and T005 is Arlington - The TC is in Bennington (different AdminID SU etc)

I used the teachers state ID as the local staff ID as well....

So is it accurate that YOUR adminid is SU060 and YOUR district of residence code is T005? The POSID is the school code of the Technical Center school the student is attending?

What if the technical center did not provide a LOCALED_ID? The field is mandatory. Maybe I can make one up that is unique for each on our Staff_Identity?

So we are SU007 and EMPORGID T050. Sending students to Burlington Technical Center... I would use:

ADMINID: SU007

EMPORGID: T050

POSID: VC004 (code for BTC)

LOCALED_ID: (something unique I can generate?)

Seem right?

This is how I've setup our files: BVSU/ASD/Arlington, students (transcripts with TC employee IDs) going TO VC009 SW VT CAREER DEVELOPMENT CTR    TE002 SW VT CAREER DEVELOPMENT CTR SD     TE002 SW VT CAREER DEVELOPMENT CTR SD

EmpOrg and StaffID for TC employees are the same as our SU060 and T005.

Oddly, the POSID on the course section files is still the OUR high school's ID (not the ID of the tech center hosting the classes)

This tech center is not in our SU and district, but from what I've been told, the sending orgs IDS are used.

Hi All,

Hoping someone out there may still be up puttering that has successfully manually added technical center employees to the various staff files.

For example, for Burlington or Essex, do we use our own ADMINID for our own SU/District or ADMIN ID of the technical center?

Similar question for the other files... POSID? Our school number or the technical center?

The file provided by the AOE only lists an "ORGID" of VC004.

Just trying to avoid a 2-4 hour wait only to find out I used the wrong IDs.

Help?
