I did toy with Clever about two years ago, we couldn't make it synch with
our domain (I'm one school of 5 in the same google domain and we don't run
active directory) and we gave up.  I'd like to revisit it sometime though.

I think at 2nd grade it's entirely appropriate that the kids log in though,
the next year they will be 1:2:1 and will need the skills.  We walk a
tightrope between doing everything for them and trying to get them to build
skills.  I'd use clever in a second with K and 1, but with shared computers
for the 2nd grade, I'd prefer to leave recent sign-in on the machines and
ease them into user accounts.
