I think you'll need crouton integration with linux os on the chromeos. It's
easy to set up. But, if that site is a must have, then that might be your
best bet. Now if it is something that every kid would need on multiple
chromebooks, it's not that easy. Well easy but tedious. If that is the case
you could try this site as an alternative

That just needs flash.

It should run with safari assuming you have java installed. You should be
able to put java on any mac os device.
Your only limitation to running java is a chromebook, which would need the
ability to install the libraries required, which is where crouton comes in.
Otherwise, install java. I use icetea-web

apps just fine.
