Ok, I won't make any comments about your physician undervaluing basic vascular understanding and using appropriate medical terminology.
You can always default to " partial retrograde waveform" is seen in the vertbral artery. 
But the reality is a gallstone is a gallstone and a pre-steal waveform is a pre-steal waveform.
