Biodiversity University: Fall Waterfowl
Thursday, Nov. 8, 7-8:30 pm @ North Branch Nature Center
Admission by Donation

On the wing or in the water, ducks are among the world’s most elegant,
stalwart, and indomitable birds. In this presentation, we’ll introduce
useful methods for identifying waterfowl, share tips for finding and
watching them, and inspire you with incredible life histories of Vermont
species. Experienced birders will walk away with a richer framework for
scrutinizing nuances in duck plumage and patterns. Beginners will leave
energized and prepared to discover and enjoy Vermont waterfowl during the
heart of migration season. Presented by NBNC Staff Naturalist Sean Beckett.

This program is followed by a day-long waterfowl workshop along the shores
of Lake Champlain on 11/11. Two spaces remain! Registration available at
our website (northbranchnaturecenter.org)

These programs are part of NBNC's Biodiversity University: educational
programs to expand your naturalist skillset.
