LOVE the pics! I am determined to get that chicken a cape and now, a set of pearls. Please send neck measurement (wattle measurement?). More serious note, that snowstorm out east looks like it was a doozy. Stay safe everyone...

Subject: Chat: Further Adventures of Fred and the Avenging Chicken

Esteemed Colleagues,

I was planning to send this out on Friday, but we're having a snow/ice/sleet/rain storm here in the DC area and I want to go abandon my car on the Beltway early so I can get a good spot. I don't know when I'll get back.

The Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association held its annual meeting in Ocean City, Maryland, last month, and the Avenging Chicken and I attended. So, here is the latest in the continuing Adventures of Fred and the Avenging Chicken: Fred and the Avenging Chicken go Downy Eauchin!

As I noted in the text, I was thinking of making this the last in the series of the Avenging Chicken, but Kate Corcoran, MEDLIB-L list manager, says it's fine with her if I continue. Also, the chicken seems to have acquired a few groupies. For those who are bored with the adventures please accept my apologies, then hit the delete key.

Happy Friday, a bit early,

Fred King

Somehow it seems I managed to get old. I really have no idea how that happened.
