Hi all – please redistribute

We have two exciting PhD opportunities for a Ph.D. students at the School of Environmental Sciences, University of Liverpool.

The first PhD will use isotopes to understand the response of ringed seals to environmental change in the Arctic, and is closely aligned with the ARISE project (https://arcticarise.wordpress.com), funded by the NERC Changing Arctic Ocean programme. The project description can be found here:

https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/response-of-ringed-seal-populations-to-environmental-change-in-the-canadian-arctic/?p104170

The second PhD will use isotopes to determine mass and energy flow in deep-sea ecosystems and is directly linked to NERC’s Climate Linked Atlantic Sector Science programme (CLASS, http://projects.noc.ac.uk/class/<https://www.findaphd.com/common/clickCount.aspx?theid=104176&type=184&DID=1972&url=http%3a%2f%2fprojects.noc.ac.uk%2fclass%2f>). The PhD project description can be found here:

The deadline is 23rd January 2019 and interested applicants can apply here: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-research/how-to-apply/

Please distribute widely to any interested potential PhD students.

Many thanks and best wishes
