Dear all

Apologies for cross-posting!

Please forward this information to students who might be interested in a PhD project on the PETM.

Short description
The project will investigate the effect of sea-surface and benthic temperatures on foraminiferal assemblages during the PETM. The student will use outcrop samples from two locations (Kheu and Dzhengutay) in southern Russia. Both PETM sections are represented by shallow marine carbonates that contain planktonic and benthic species of foraminifera.

Best wishes
Nikolai
