I have a question about this thread.  I've been doing some Youtube adjustments recently for the school.  Right now I have student OU's on moderate restrictions (pending strict restriction) and teachers on no restriction.  If I give a teacher sub OU permission to whitelist certain youtube videos, how do the teachers in said OU make that happen?  How can I make that happen?  The ability to do that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks!

We enable all teachers to be content approvers.  We also assigned grades k-5 the restrictive setting, grades 6-8 the moderate setting, and set grades 9-12 to unrestricted.  All adults are also unrestricted.

Any approver can remove an approved video/channel that they see, but they can't see who did the approving or removing; however, I can go to the console and see a list of all approved videos/channels and remove them if necessary.  I can also see who approved the video/channel in case a conversation is necessary.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Wondering how others have the YouTube service in G Suite set ? Restricted, Moderate or Unrestricted or completely turned off for students ? Mostly 6-12 are my concerns. Do you have teachers set to approve content ?
