I know this was from a month+ ago, but as someone in this thread wrote, most of us “ex listers” these days.  But, here I am and I just want to say that Mark Renson was spot on here and to this day I miss Scott’s weather predictions:

He got flamed a bit with his weather geekery ......... then we realized that his weather forecasting was spot on and often exceeded the accuracy of the NWS, so we embraced him.

I am a long time “lurker” who totally enjoyed Scott’s posts.  I also recall that he was an excellent photographer who captured the Stowe backcountry with amazing photos.  There were so many instances when I returned home to Boston from an icy boilerplate weekend at MRG and I would see his weekend pow pics from Stowe - and I couldn’t believe it was the same state!  Never met Scott but always thought that he was an amazing individual who would do very well in life!  The list has never been the same- at least for me - since his highly entertaining and informative posts faded out.
