A short loop along both sides of the Connecticut River yesterday afternoon
produced large flocks of winter visitors in both NH and VT. There were over
200 waxwings, mostly Cedar, in White River Junction. In Lebanon there was a
flock of over 50 birds, mostly Pine Grosbeaks, with some Bohemian Waxwings
mixed in.
