"The Quiet Force" investigates the human and economic impact of Hispanic immigrants living in ski towns -- specifically, Mammoth, Vail, and Jackson --
where they comprise 30% (or more) of the local population. Co-Director Hilary Byrne '11
UVM alum will be in attendance.

Panelist Bios:
Susan Sussman - caseworker for Senator Patrick Leahy, specializing in immigration issues
Leslie Holman - immigration lawyer, member American Immigration Lawyers Association, Vermont State Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission of Civil Rights and sits on the Board of the Federal Bar Association, Immigration
Section. She also provides pro-bono advice and assistance to local agencies involved in immigration related issues.
Pablo Bose - Associate Professor, Department of Geography, Director of Global and Regional Studies, UVM, research on migration, refugee resettlement, global cities, transnationalism and diasporas.
