A noisy flock of 28 male Redwing Blackbirds were sitting and flitting around at the top of a large oak in my yard yesterday around sunset, probably enjoying the Springlike warmth. I'm sure this morning they were asking each other, "Who's idea was it to come this far north with the cold, wind, and snow flurries still around, anyway?" Answer: "Konk-a-ree!...not me, not me!"
