Had a challenging-but-enjoyable early AM drive up the secondary highways of NY and VT.

Arrived not too long after MRG got their power *back* on. That woulda dekcus.

There was a dumpload of fresh, wet snow on top of what must have been some pretty ugly crust. Enough fresh, though, so the crust was never a big problem and seldom a problem at all. It was great skiing. Freshies available on every run. Got some extended first tracks here and there. Skied 9:30 to 2:30—with a lunch break and a “Hi Wes”  in between—and by then I was cooked.

Wes’s drive was interesting.
