Good afternoon,
I am pleased to announce that Molly Epstein has accepted the position of Award Acceptance Officer, effective April 8, 2019.
Molly brings a wealth of relevant experience and skills to this position. In her role as Outgoing Subaward Specialist, she’s been responsible for the creation of all outgoing subawards, development of the Outgoing Subaward Procedure, development
and presenting SPA’s Outgoing Subaward seminar. In addition, Molly recently began processing and accepting incoming awards as part of the award acceptance team. Last year Molly passed the Certified Research Administrator Exam, which is a designation granted
by the Research Administrators Certification Council to individuals who demonstrate the knowledge necessary to serve as an administrator of professional and sponsored research programs. She’s successfully built many trusting relationships with PIs and Unit
Administrators across campus. We are excited for her to continue cultivating these partnerships in her new role as an Award Acceptance Officer.
Molly will continue to support the outgoing subaward workload until we fill the position she has vacated.
SPA currently is recruiting. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sponsored program administrator to join our team. Emily Trantum (Team Lead for Award Acceptance, Set Up and Outgoing Subawards) is the hiring manager.
Please take a look and help us spread the word to those who may be interested in joining SPA!
