This morning at 8:30, after encountering several chestnut-sided warblers and a black-and-white warbler, I saw a "coyote" in the field in front of the barn. After a while it disappeared into the ravine to the west. My understanding is that these animals actually are hybrids of western coyotes and eastern wolves, usually referred to as "coywolves". At any rate, while not a bird, it's worth keeping your eye out for if you're going there, though it undoubtedly has a much larger range.
