Job Description
Washington Central UU School District is seeking a Network and Support Administrator to provide high-level technical support, system design, and project management for a medium-sized network infrastructure, including several remote locations. This position is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of several key infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, wired and wireless networking, Hyper-V, backup/recovery services, anti-virus, and patching of district systems. This position will require some helpdesk coverage, and must be able to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and parents, regardless of their level of technical ability.

This position will be hands on designing, configuring, testing, and installing servers, networks, and related technology infrastructure, as well as end-user devices, Chromebooks, peripherals, and other hardware. Ability to install, configure and upgrade operating systems and district-approved software, as well as troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues. Will be responsible for monitoring trouble ticketing system, responding to issues escalated from other technicians, and coordinating activities with other technology staff and users. Responsible for training staff on district-provided technology, which will include travel between schools sites to perform assigned duties.
