A UVMClick - Grants Update #1


Dear Principal Investigators, Grant and Business Managers,


Sponsored Project Administration (SPA) and Electronic Research Systems (eRS) continue to work on UVMClick - Grants (Proposals, Awards, Award Modifications) implementation.  The goal is to launch UVMClick - Grants by early spring.


To date, the SPA and eRS implementation team have focused their efforts on developing the first prototype of UVMClick - Proposal Submissions.


For the month of July, SPA research administrators will be testing the prototype to identify areas of improvement and recommend changes.  This process will likely result in several iterations of the prototype, which our eRS teammates and Huron developers will continue to update.


Once the implementation team is satisfied that we have an efficient and effective proposal submission system we will invite test groups of department research administrators and principal investigators to view UVMClick - Proposals and provide feedback.   


Development of both the UVMClick - Proposal, Award, Award Modification modules will continue throughout the rest of 2019.


UVMClick - Grants training will be provided to everyone – SPA staff, principal investigators, and department research administrators – tailored to their roles in the process, as we get closer to the go-live date.
