Good morning,

The University’s Effort Reporting System (ERS) migration to version 10 is complete and is back on-line. The primary changes in version 10 are a new look and some features have been redesigned for better usability. However, the processes to review effort plans and certify effort have not changed in version 10.

The “new look” now has all applicable ERS functions at the top of each screen instead of the left hand side. As an example, the Committed Effort Module (CEM) screens now have the below menus at the top of each screen as you navigate between ERS screens. Click on each menu and a drop down list of ERS navigational choices will be provided.

For detailed navigation and illustrations of ERS version 10, the Committed Effort Module (CEM) verification job aid is available at https://www.uvm.edu/~finance/ERS/effort_verification_job_aid.pdf. The ERS version 10 CERT job aids will be available prior to the beginning of the FY19 certification period (August 19, 2019).
