Congratulations Everyone.

 

Sponsored Projects at the University of Vermont had another strong year in FY19. We are reporting 631 award actions resulting in $144M, 5.6% above FY18.

 

89% of our funding came from the federal government at $129M, leading the way was NIH support at $76M. Another $5.5M came from state government, along with $3.5 from industry and $6M from foundations and non-profits.

 

Many thanks to our Principal Investigators, who write the grants, win the money and deploy the funds in support of research and scholarship that lead to some amazing discoveries, and many thanks to our department, college and central office research administrators, who on a daily basis facilitate the lifecycle of a sponsored project.
