The Rabies Clinic, scheduled to take place in Huntington Center at the Fire House, on April 28, has been postponed. No replacement date has been scheduled, although the goal is to have a clinic this spring.

About the Clinic:
This annual event is organized by the Huntington and Richmond Town Clerks, and takes place in either town on alternating years. In addition to the $20 per vaccination fee, microchipping ($35) is also available by appointment. The veterinary service is provided by Kerry Lindemuth, DVM, a Huntington resident, whose business is Dr. Kerry's Pet Housecalls. The clinic is open to all. The organizing Town Clerks are present to register the dogs living in their town.

Further, upon the recommendations of the Town Clerks, the Selectboards in each town have extended the on-time 2020 deadlines for dog registration, as follows:
Huntington, May 1
Richmond, July 1

When the clinic is rescheduled, an announcement will be made with a link for appointments for microchipping.
