For everyone's future reference, please contact [log in to unmask] for any 
Gitlab support issues.

In this particular case, we hadn't enabled email functionality in 
Gitlab, but I've set it up. You should now all be able to reply directly 
to issues and comments sent to you via email and they will appear in Gitlab.
