Interesting, we went through about 70 screens with the J41 model last year.
About 75% of them broke at the exact same point on the screen as well - a
point that exactly lines up with the bevel just below the keyboard. We also
had major issues with internal cables coming loose (the glue on the back of
the LCD cable seemed to pull one corner or the other out just enough to
cause intermittent display issues and the cable running to the daughter
board would be outside of the locking tabs on the cable causing the
computer to not charge from that side).

Our sending schools had the older models and had excellent luck with them
though so it could be just a design issue with the J41.
