I’m working on getting some of our faculty moved over to Wordpress and am attempting to provide them a site skeleton to use so they just need to fill in some information and not worry too much about layout in the short term. I have the template site set up and exported it but cannot run an import on a new website using the site.uvm.edualias. The strange thing is it works on a site with the blog.uvm.edu alias. Is this something we could get looked at as I know many of our faculty are going to prefer a ‘site’ over a ‘blog’.
The “WordPress Importer” plugin provides this functionality. It is “network activated” (i.e., administratively enabled across all sites without owners individually enabling it) on
blog.uvm.edu, but was not for
site.uvm.edu. I have now changed that.
