Vascular Sonographer/Technologist – Full Time

The Swedish Vascular Ultrasound Department in beautiful Seattle, Washington is seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer to join our team. This is an opportunity to utilize your skills in peripheral,
visceral and carotid examinations while developing expertise in neurovascular transcranial Doppler exams. Mentoring and instruction provided by expert staff in advanced applications of transcranial Doppler and support provided to achieve the Neurovascular
Specialist Credential. The lab is located in a 200 bed specialty hospital supporting the Swedish Heart & Vascular and Neuroscience Institutes. The program is accredited by IAC in all five specialties.
Experience & Skills:
Three years working independently performing peripheral, carotid and visceral studies; experience writing preliminary reports and preparing final reports, experience performing exams for inpatients, outpatients
and during surgery preferred.
Requirements:
Completion of a training program accredited by the American Medical Association – Committee on Allied Health Education (AMA-CAHEA) for vascular ultrasound and current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist
through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent education/experience.
