No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays

 

LVPG Vascular Surgery, Allentown, PA is currently seeking an RVT/RVT eligible candidate to fill an immediate opening in our expanding IAC accredited Vascular Lab within our outpatient physician offices.  This is a fulltime day shift position, with no weekends, no call, no holidays and very limited, if any overtime.  We have offices located directly across the street from Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest & I-78 in Allentown, PA and on the Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Hospital campus in Bethlehem, PA.  There are currently five vascular surgeons, two physicians’ assistants, a wound care clinical nurse specialist and three ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologists within our practice. 

Our vascular surgeons are compassionate, caring physicians who use cutting edge technology to help improve the quality of life for our vascular patients.  Treating carotid artery disease, aneurysms of the aorta, visceral arteries, and peripheral arteries, such as abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and popliteal aneurysm, Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), atherosclerosis, varicose veins, spider veins and reticular veins along with monitoring our patients prior to any necessary interventions is our goal.  TCAR, EVAR, FEVAR, bypass grafts, dialysis access fistulas/grafts, venous stenting and VNUS closure procedures are just a few of the procedures our vascular surgeons have available to treat our patients.   We are passionate about improving our patients’ quality of life to provide better health, better care and better cost throughout their partnership with our practice.

High quality imaging GE Logiq S8 ultrasound machines and Parks Flo-Labs are present in all four of our current vascular lab rooms, along with electronic exam tables with locking casters for easy positioning of patients to prevent technologist strain and work-related injury.  Each technologist has their own room, so it can be set up for their scanning comfort and preferences.  Our patients become familiar with us as we scan them throughout their time with us and many treat us as family by sharing their lifetime experiences, goals and accomplishments along the way.  This just confirms the passion we have by making a difference in their quality of life and treating them as individuals and not just another ultrasound exam.
