We do two payments – town, in August, and school, in November. We do not send reminders. We send copies of the bills to anyone who purchases between April 1st and when the bills are mailed, but after that, we leave it up to the closing attorney or the seller to give a copy to the buyer.

Subject: Multiple tax payments
In Towns that have more than one tax payment I’m wondering if you send reminders for each installment prior to the due date? If so how do you do this in NEMRC?
If you don’t send out reminders how do you handle properties that changed hands after you mailed the initial tax bill?
