Dawn Caffrey from Finance & Cost Accounting Services is asking department effort administrators to submit requests for the urgent set up of any fully negotiated award or advanced account that is currently pending set up and preventing the completion of FY21 effort certifications.  These should be submitted to [log in to unmask] with a subject line of “Urgent Set Up for Certification: AWD000000XXX” using the appropriate AWD number and include any additional information that would be helpful such as the FP number, MOD number, date it was fully submitted for set up, etc.

Dawn is also asking that you include a list the individuals whose effort forms cannot be completed until the set up is completed.

Given that payroll changes must be submitted, approved and processed in the 9/30/21 payroll in order to be brought into the Effort Reporting System (ERS) the deadline for urgent set up requests must be submitted to Dawn by 9/17/21.  SPA will prioritize the set ups affecting the FY21 effort certification, as long as there are no other negotiation or sponsor constraints. 

Upon notification of award set up please submit all necessary salary distribution and eAPF changes to [log in to unmask] by 9/27/21.  Please be sure to reach out to other departments who have faculty and staff supported on the newly set up award(s).
